Appearance: Oshitari is lean and tall; at almost six feet, his long limbs and calculated motions lend him a certain amount of grace. He has naturally blue hair that nearly reaches his shoulders, but not quite. When he’s hard at work, he’ll tie it at the nape. More than a little vain, he dresses himself very well in fitted slacks, designer shoes, and loose sweaters and button downs. He continues to wear glasses that he doesn’t actually need.
Personality/Biography: The very definition of a flirt, Oshitari grew up getting his hands in a lot of different pots and on a lot of different people. While he’s good humored and puts a great deal of energy into playing with (or teasing) others, he doesn’t let most people in very deeply. The perfect poker face isn’t necessarily static, unpleasant, or even completely false.
Though his biggest passion is without a doubt producing and consuming sappy stories (medium irrelevant), Oshitari decided that once he stepped off the Hyoutei elevator, he would succeed his father in the medical field. So far, he has lived up to his tensai nickname and performed highly in all of his classes. Though he still likes tennis, he’s mostly in it for short shorts, changing rooms, and reliable exercise.
RP Samples: As Oshitari stared at the projection of a cadaver with several layers of skin peeled back to show disease, he doodled little hearts on his book and wondered when his last date had been.
…That go-kon with Takeo and Ando? No, that had been mostly for the purpose of setting Ueda-chan up with Endo.
He started thinking about that time with Kita-kun, but eventually remembered that affair only occurred in his mind during tennis practice.
Maki-chan? Ah, that was just a video game.
Oshitari tapped his pencil on the book and considered a little longer. Flower viewing with Rieko-chan? But that had been in the spring time. It had been months.
No, that wasn’t right. Rieko lived in Tokyo, and he only visited home once this spring to attend a special exhibit with his sister.
His date with Rieko had been last spring. The tip of his pencil snapped off. She had been so lovely in her light jacket and pink blouse, pink like the flowers that were caught in her dark hair. But there was no point in calling on her now, one year later. He hoped by now that she found someone who wonderful, good-looking, and very capable of remembering to call her. He could always console himself by watching a marathon of We Got Married. Oh, and there was the approaching fall season of TV to consider.
I suppose I have something to look forward to, he smiled, and drew a ribbon on the head of the matching cadaver in his textbook. His studies, friends, tennis, and television shows kept him plenty busy.
