You can apply for up to two characters. However, to pick up a third character you must be active at least two months and you must choose another character of another series if you are playing two of the same series.
NOTE: From March 2016, your character must be either transferring from another university into the year you would like them to be (limited by age) or starting as a 1st year.

CHARACTER
Name: Echizen Ryoma

Year: 1st year. Been on tour and just arriving.

Appearance: After years of drinking his milk like Inui told him to, he's finally grown though he's very very slender and looks rather unassuming under his normally rather baggy clothes. It's not hard for the big Europeans to underestimate him. He keeps his hair fluffy and short like it used to be and after all this time he only wears his hat when on the court. He hates getting the sun in his eyes. He also always has on a necklace that his mother gave him after Karupin died the day he had his first pro-match. The necklace is a simple small silver locket with a picture of him smiling and holding Karupin as a kid the day he got her. On the other side, theres a deep blue gem, that's the same blue as Seigaku's jerseys. The gem was made from his precious Karupin's ashes so that she can always be with him.
Personality/Biography: Ryoma has not grown out of his snarky ways, but he's grown into them. He has ended up like his father more than he'd like to admit. He spent his high school years in America playing tennis and studying when he felt like it. He played in tournaments and by the time he graduated, he had many sponsors waiting with bated breath. He went pro almost immediately and has just been traveling around playing tennis and practicing.
After so much time on the road though, he got tired and decided to set up base in Japan again. He was pretty awful at keeping in touch with people, but he's trying to mend bridges now and get a bit of that life back that he had in junior high.
RP Samples:
The trip from the airport to the dorms filled the professional tennis player with so many different feelings, all he could do was stare out the window. It felt like forever since he’d last stepped foot in Japan. It was calming, exciting, and terrifying all at once and he didn’t know how to handle it other than to just look out the window of the taxi and rest his head on his hand.
“Tadaima..” He murmured softly as he saw an old man walking through a rice field seemingly out of place between two city buildings.
To his surprise the taxi driver smiled and answered back, “Okaeri, Echizen-sama.” The young man blinked and looked at the driver, “I’ve seen you on TV…keep working hard ok? We’re all cheering for you. Take Japan to the top, alright? Just like Nishikori Kei.”
Ryoma stared for a minute then he grinned, “I’m going to go even higher than the top, mister, just you wait.”
The taxi driver chuckled, “Mm, I look forward to it.”
